My wife and I own The Foresters Arms. Billinge WN5 7PA thanks Ken
A very down to earth, cheap traditional boozer. If it offered just a single real ale I would be here far more often but I know it has been tried in the past. Bit of a shame as lager and keg bitter just doesn't do it for me these days.
Refused to allow my handicapped brother in for a quiet, none alcoholic drink for absolutely no reason whatsoever. Supposedly because of horrible local gossip. I cannot put into words just how un-necessarily rude and disgusting the attitude was towards my handicapped brother on that particular night. Their was no need at all whatsoever the strange thing is that it used to be a relatively nice quiet local pub but ever since that moment, You won't see me in their ever again, Shame really.
Certainly a budget priced little boozer. Was nice to see some traditional pub games being played. Clearly a local pub for local people. Everybody knows each other. Bar man was a master of the minimal. No eye contact, no hello, no words at all expect asking for the money! The beer was good. The pub was clean, but they could do with a fader on the lighting. Felt more like a showroom than a pub, nearly went to my car for some sun glasses!
