Great little pub, friendly staff
Family friendly (no kids as there is no food) Nice crowd and the place has good vibes
A bit unfair to judge this pub at the moment, because it is undergoing refurbishment. But the pub still manages to be friendly and the service is excellent. Doing a pub up in the present environment is a very brave thing to do, and deserves the support of local people. I look forward to having a pint in the Tawd when it is finished.
Proper boozer (good thing) and is what it is. Friendly staff and plenty of TV screens for the sport. I only go in now and again when visiting family but it never feels like it is uncomfortable for strangers like some pubs can be. Would have done 5 stars if they had a decent cider on tap rather than Strongbow.
Really friendly, beer is good & the manager put a hot pot on at half time at no cost whilst the derby was on! Even better if you were a Liverpool supporter! 😁
