Cracking pub...called in on 12.01.2024...20 years after I first discovered the Welly in January 2004 on a night out in Preston. Classic town centre boozer. Superb outdoor terrace, and food coming back on soon.
Long time since I was in the pub but really enjoyed it very welcoming and beer was cheap and good,
New landlord opened this week. Currently no food provision and closed on Mondays. Friendly traditional local pub looking to re-establish regular customers.
Ah disappointed says it was open midday Sunday but waited and waited it didn't open. Was desperate for a Sunday Roast and seen reviews saying it was fab but let me down with poor time keeping
A good traditional public house currently re opened. It's retained much of the old world style and is being improved still by the currant owners. A very warm welcome from the bar was nice on entering. .
