We came for a Sunday lunch/dinner for my partners birthday. We visited a few months prior and sat in the back pub area. The restaurant and location itself are absolutely beautiful and finished to a high standard. The service is good and attentive. Unfortunately, our visit was let down by the standard of food. £22 for a Sunday dinner better be on the top end of Sunday dinners and unfortunately it was not the case. The roast potatoes are simply not very good at all. The veg was minimal and tasteless. The beef (which was nice enough) was cut poorly and there was very little of it and everything came out luke warm. I genuinely would not return for a Sunday dinner based on yesterday’s visit. I did feed this back to the staff who were apologetic enough and advised they would let the kitchen know. I haven’t had any of the other food so can’t comment. Shame as it really is a beautiful place with a lovely atmosphere.

This was my first visit to this restaurant. The place is beautiful and though it was dark and raining, there is a stunning outside area to use in the summer. The food was excellent, as were the friendly staff. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. We will definitely come back. Xx

Great job Ye Horns Inn! Had an incredible group meal for 6 of us - food excellent - staff were on it! Very friendly and tentative to all our requests and beyond making great recommendations throughout the evening. Will definitely be going back. Christmas decorations made the evening and atmosphere even more special. Additional special mention to the singer that evening who we all thought did an amazing job and made everything that even more Christmasy. Don’t think just book it! Cheers Merry Christmas 🎅🏻

The setting is stunning, wine list is good and service is attentive, but the food is unfortunately still not up to scratch. By the investment in renovation and concept, you can see that they are trying to position themselves alongside other upmarket Ribble valley destination pubs in the market (think Parker’s arms, three fishes), but the standard of food is nowhere near these places. I personally had the fish and chips - cod didn’t taste fresh and was mushy (not thawed properly?) while the chips were undercooked and had a strange earthy flavour. Presentation was good, which is more than can be said for the lamb rump which looked like a meal prep dish. Apparently this tasted good though in fairness. All in all disappointing as the venue has real potential, just needs some refinement in the kitchen.

Stunning restaurant, love the look and feel doesn’t feel overcrowded or that tables are on top of each other. We had Sunday lunch and it was beautiful, I only wish the portions were a little bigger, some sides of vegetables would have gone down a treat to pad it out a bit.
