An original Trans-Pennine pub on the ale trail, with views overlooking Greenfield Valley. Renowned for its live bands and jam sessions.
One of the most iconic live music venues in Saddleworth, and an original Transpennine Real Ale Trail pub.
Brilliant staff 👏 atmosphere Brilliant very relaxing pub and free pool on a Tuesday, if I lived in greenfield again it would be my local 😀
Nice boozer. Didn't have food but the beer and craic were of high quality. Very handy for the railway station too.
Nice cosy place, great live music with a long tradition of live bands. For those who liked live bands, drinks are good, great view of the Pennines 07/01/23. Very friendly staff, always like to call in, food available at weekends (although it's available every couple of weeks In between) i.e. not every week..
Stopped for a pint whilst out for a walk. I cannot comment on the food. There were lots of people eating therefore I am presuming it is good. On this occasion they didn't have a great selection of real ales on. Great pub and a good place to stop whilst waiting for the train. Recommended
This is a great old pub. It doesn't deserve the bad reviews it's received. It's great they're keeping the tradition of gigs going. People should go to these places and keep them alive.
