A wetherspoons margo pizza minus the cheese by looks of things. Ended up eating 1 half of the middle and scraping the other half topping onto that.
I know this is a spoons so was just looking for pub grub, but this is one of the worse meals I've ever had. I had chicken burger which was swimming in grease, first bite and all you could taste was dirty oil. My brother-in-laws double burger looked like Iceland's super value burgers at 10p a burger and not lying when he had 6 chips, wife's wings if you squeezed them the oil ran out them. It was later on in the night so don't know about the kitchen staff. I have eaten in here numerous times in the past and never had cause to complain but it had been a while and I certainly wont be again which is a shame as I do normally like spoon's food but it seems to be going down hill fast. That said the staff behind the bar were really friendly and cheap drink, can't say the same for the waitress.
Successful spoons formula. Stress free ordering via the app. Plenty seats , refillable tea, reasonably priced food. Very reasonable alcohol prices. Free WiFi. Open 8am to midnight. Everything from toast and marmalade to 3 course dinner with wine available. I had tea and toast - no complaints.
Dirty dirty toilets, no toilet roll. Sticky tables. First time visiting. Large space lots of seating upstairs and down. We had a spicy chicken pizza which was really good. 6oz American cheese burger 🍔, very few chips Buddah bowl with 5 bean chilli. Ok but a little bland . A pepsie cherry, a lemonade and a whites rasberry lemonade . It was ok, it's spoons. But will not return the toilet were awful
Decent Wetherspoons with the usual decor. Nice seated area upstairs with a fair number of tables, we ate lunch here and it was busy downstairs but a bit quieter upstairs.
