About us

Packed full of the freshest Marble beer and offerings from around the UK and beyond, we’ve got a whole lot of beer on offer in our keg focused, Northern Quarter space.

Spread over two floors, you’ll also find fridges filled with an eclectic selection of guest beers; ranging from cutting-edge cans to classic old world bottles. Upstairs plays host to our second bar, where if you know what you’re doing, you’ll spot a secret cask line in action - rotating Marble core such as Pint and Manchester Bitter.

As a part of the Marble family, we’re proud to play a vital role in events such as beer launches, collaboration brews and Meet The Brewer events. Growlers, t-shirts, hats and other merchandise areavailable to buy over the bar and you’re always welcome to grab a carryout beer.

We’re just 10-minutes walk from either Victoria or Piccadilly station, making us an ideal stop-off for those on the go. If you’re staying a little longer, we have an open-kitchen serving simple, seasonal food taking inspiration from across the world.

We’re dedicated to providing an inclusive space for all, offering top quality products whatever your tastes; producing pared-down menus to satisfy any meat eater, cheese lover, vegetarian or vegan. Along with the enticing smells and a relaxed atmosphere, upstairs also contains plenty of additional seating.

Its my first visit here since 2018, it used to be a regular bar on my Northern Quarter circuit. Formerly a Marble Brewery tap, this is now owned by Fierce Brewery (Scotland) and i believe its their first venture outside Scotland in to the English market. Apparently business is good & this bar has become a firm favourite on the Manchester "beer sceen" being very popular locally. Outwardly the bar hasn't changed that much, with much of the decor looking very similar if not as it used to be. It's not the most comfortable of bars (benches) but if beers are your thing this is a secondary consideration. The bar offers a comprehensive range of Fierce keg beers, I sampled all those on offer (except the lager/pilsners) all of which were excellent! They also have a fridge which holds the full range of their quality specialist style beers, Porters, IPA's etc (some of which were 12% upwards). The main bar itself is on the ground floor with a secondary (overflow) bigger bar upstairs. I'm sure this is a relatively new addition as I dont recall this the last time I was here? There is one toilet situated at the end of the bar on the ground floor, there are also 3 individual toilets on the first floor. (They are all unisex) At the time of my visit they were all spotless & clean, but that was on a relatively quiet afternoon on a Thursday, it started filling up as I left (6pm) so I could imagine that could change when it gets very busy? Overall this is a great little bar, with lovely beers & friendly helpful staff. When I left the atmosphere was just beginning to build, so my recommendation is to get there early. Recommended!

I’ve always liked this particular unit on Thomas Street. Loved it when it was 57 Thomas Street Marble Taproom, and its other iterations since. Current place is great too. Very beer focused, nice atmosphere still, and the beers are pretty good too.

Nice small craft bar from this Scottish craft brewery. Great selection of beers on tap from the brewery and beyond with a well stocked can fridge catering for all craft trends. Games to play and friendly staff. Would like to have spent longer sampling more beer but time was short. Deffo worth a visit
