Great venue, friendly staff and great live music and jam nights!
Love this pub, a cosy hygienic place to chill by day, and an amazing place to have fun and engage in live music at night. The bar staff are brilliant, and all-round good people. The locals are amazing too, probably the most friendly people you'll meet. Highly recommend.
One of many drinking establishments in Chorley this for me is the best. It's in the side street away from the town centre so not so obvious to those visiting the town. Best landlord welcome in the town, very helpful and wanting to please his customers. The interior is amazing, it's old and original with a lot of charm. Love a good ale and this was available. Dogs are welcome. 5+ do give it a visit.
The Railway is a fantastic local's pub, which is warm and welcoming to all. The pool table is top notch and it has a fantastic little darts room with a well kept board. Beer is always top notch and the team of staff are fabulous as is the Landlady. They also have live bands at the weekend, usually rock bands and they are always great nights. Can't fault it.
Excellent pub. I came a long way to visit this place, and it did not disappoint - that goes for the whole town as well. Yes, there is a jukebox with a good selection of music. I think you can have it search online for additional music if you need that. The bands on the weekend I was there were really great. Loud rock / metal (Riff Raff and Deathwish). The staff and management were terrific - the customers as well. This place has a lively, friendly energy about it. Cheers gang.
