The Eagles Head is a welcoming country pub situated in the village of Over Kellet just 2 minutes from junction 35 of the M6 motorway and 20 minutes from the heart of The Lake District.
Garry and Helena, formerly of the Royal Oak in Hornby welcome new and existing customers to The Eagles Head pub. With a full selection of continental lager's, traditional draught beers, wines and spirits for your enjoyment and of course soft drinks for those non-drinkers and drivers. The pubs cosy friendly atmosphere makes this pub a great place for family and friends to drop in for a quiet drink. The large beer garden is a beautiful, peaceful place to relax with a large car park, it is easily accessible for all.
It was fairly quiet when we went. The staff were great and the food was very nice. And home cooked.

🐾 dog friendly - so a bonus in my book! They service food till late, which was unbelievably helpful on our road trip. The pub is nice and has a cosy vibe. Everyone was lovely and they were really on top of their service. Would happily visit again!
Last Sunday, we nipped off the motorway as it was very slow moving.... and we found this dog friendly place. Lovely little pub, lovely staff, and the food was beautiful, we thoroughly enjoyed it. It was raining heavily outside and we were snug inside with great food x thank you 😊
Lovely little pub, with nice decor and a cosy warm feel to it. The staff were polite and attentive. 3 hand-pulled cask ales on tap. A perfect destination for a couple to enjoy some time together, will definitely call by again when in the area.
