The Swan Inn is a 16th Century Coaching inn, Situated on the A683, between Sedbergh and Kirkby Lonsdale.
At Swan Inn, Middleton, we are a Traditional Country Inn with original olde world charm and log fires and nestled not far from the river Lune at the foot of the Middleton Fells.
The Swan always has a varied choice of full cask Ales | Walkers. We also have a large beer garden with childrens play equipment and Dogs are very welcome too.
Traditional Cumbrian home-cooked food at Swan Inn is available in a separate restaurant served everyday 12:00 noon till 8:30pm.

Went on a wet Saturday afternoon for lunch. We were the only ones in there. Had a lovely lunch and great pint of Timmy Taylor's golden best
Very nice traditional pub , lovely friendly welcome . Food was ok but sadly nothing special
Our third visit to this beautiful pub, the food is excellent, real 'pub food' which you don't tend to find very often these days. Highly recommend the sticky toffee pudding. The owners are very welcoming, even with our 'spirited' children. The building is lovely with many original features retained. Certainly our 'go to' place to eat when we're in the area.
Absolutley amazing traditional country pub I often find excuses to drive the 2 hours just to end up near by here as an excuse to visit the swan. Amazing food, great hosts and locals. Last bastion of the great British country Inn. Highly recommend
