We only went in for a drink and something to eat but was very welcoming and warm! Staff are nice and polite. Nice food (large portions) and drink with average price Best thing ... dogs allowed in, and they have a dog menu!!!!
Stayed here, last week to climb Whernside. and a bit of dark skies photography. Traditional Yorkshire pub, Very friendly and very welcoming and the dog got her own bowl of water! Nice Ales on draught and great Steak & Ale pie. It was -10 outside on the night although it was single glazed the room was really warm with a Hearty Full English for breakfast. For the price and Considering I was the only guest staying that night I was very impressed. Will be back again at some point!
Unbelievable! After 20 min from order ( food and drinks) we've been told to leave as there is reservation. There was no information about reservation. When we asked other staff member she confirmed there is one for 8pm (it was 1 pm) Eventually we had to leave ( like now) as big group of people was waiting. I'm guessing big order, more money 💰 no respect to other customers! Especially different nationalities.Big disappointment! The ladies served bar orders were very professional and polite 👍🏼
Nice pub with good selection of real ales. Only called in for a drink after a long walk. Very busy on a Saturday afternoon. First sunny day after weeks of wet weather brought everyone out. Queue at the bar but was dealt with quickly by friendly and efficient staff. Last time I was in this pub was probably 15 years ago. The bar was was in the middle then, now moved to the side. This might open up the space in the pub but I preferred it as it was.
We had an overnight stay at the Station Inn in December. The inn is at a stunning location and is a lovely, traditional Yorkshire pub. The food was really good and they have a great selection of local ales. Without doubt, the most dog friendly pub I’ve ever visited - they couldn’t do enough for our furry family member :) The owners and staff were without exception, very friendly and welcoming - we’re really looking forward to our next visit.

The Crown Hotel is situated in the beautiful Ribble Valley, right on the riverbank, at the foot of Pen-y-ghent and is one of few hotels in the Yorkshire Dales National Park which actually stand on The Pennine Way.
