Great club, made to feel welcome on my first visit.
I was in the club recently, and was informed that for members there is a reduction in the price of beer. As I am a spirit drinker and a member I asked the question how much reduction do I receive. I was shocked to be told it only applies to Beer. How can one set of members be treated differently to other members. Thank you for the response to my review. I would like to point out it was a genuine question to what I had been told and not an attempt to undermine decisions made by the committee. The financial well being of the club is paramount in all members thoughts. As you know during lockdown the club received many thousands of pounds to see it through the lockdown period. Also with the addition of comedy nights and the money generated from them the bank balance has expanded substantially, so the financial well being of the club is secure. If you think back to committee meetings that I attended you should remember that I brought up that ALL drinks should be increased by a minimum of 10p. Unfortunately my suggestion was over ruled. So yes I did offer to pay more. I also find it disrespectful of you to suggest that I use my feet to to walk away to another establishment. I made a comment with good intentions and you completely blew it out of proportion, if you cannot answer a comment then I suggest you hand over the running of this site to someone who does not take these comments as personnel attack.
Awesome social club and very welcoming. The comedy evening was fun and great value! Thank you to the volunteers making this place so special.
The comedy night is always hilarious & tickets are great value for money. Drinks prices are beyond reasonable! Lovely staff too.
Excellent venue, with a warm welcome offered by staff and local customers, Good range of drinks on offer and excellent value. Well worth a visit, either just catch up with friends, watch a game or even play snooker. Do give this hidden gem a try!
