This was my first visit to the Clog and Billycock on Christmas Day and I went with my family. The ambience was so welcoming and I thought it was absolutely amazing and would unreservedly recommend. My salmon starter and the halibut main were faultless and the apple desert was excellent. The staff were delightful and the wine list was one of the most varied I have seen and I do eat out a lot. We all really enjoyed the Christmas lunch. It is such a shame this is not near London as I would be here all the time!. Well done and THANK YOU so much for making our Christmas Day very special. We had a wonderful time and will be back.
Fantastic food, great atmosphere. It was a little expensive but you get what you pay for . Service and food were faultless. Looking forward to visiting again . Thanks for a lovely meal.
Lovely drinks and food. The service is warm and the decor is really special. The views are also really stunning. Would definitely recommend! Not many vegetarian options on the main courses, but I had two delicious starters instead and was not disappointed!
We came for lunch at this lovely country pub restaurant and I was blown away by the quality of the food and attentiveness of the staff. The chicken, bacon and leek pie was to die for and the portions were very generous. I had the fish pie which was full of flavour and proportioned perfectly. You could tell the food was fresh and home cooked. I look forward to coming back with my family and friends to spend my birthday meal. I definitely recommend a visit here.
First visit today to celebrate Dad's 87th birthday. The welcome was very warm from Cameron, who was friendly, attentive, and great with Dad. ❤️ The food was of a very high standard, delicious, and the plates were hot, which I would have given another 🌟 for if I could! Nice touch to have a small dessert served with a coffee. The flat white and creme brulee were both delicious. And they put a candle in Dad's and sang happy birthday to him. 😃 Highly recommend it. You won't be disappointed. Thanks once again to Cameron and the girls. ❤️ 💙 💜 💖 We will be back soon.
