Staff were excellent and service was excellent aswell
Great wee pub. Staff friendly and attentive. Good humoured banter flowing. All covid guidelines adhered to with polite requests from staff. Lovely drinks served with a smile .
What a dump! I was more or less ignored by the staff as I wasn't 'a regular'. On the Saturday night I was there I was drinking in the lounge (or trying to) and every time I went to the bathroom it was full of younger drinkers snorting coke off their keys. There was a particularly aggressive one who called himself Deemo who kept trying to bully me into having some. Never again.
Small local bar in the middle of cardown, great for a casual drink or for a night out. With a beer garden at hand it's perfect for a summer night. It is also ideal for the start of a night out in the town. It's well priced and right next to Stepps train station. The train is only a 15-20 minute journey into the city centre. It also has a Brittish pool table. Due to the size of the bar it is quite hard to play a game when It is busy but people make every effort to accodate those who want to play.
