Absolutely adore this place, really can't go wrong with any of their menu. They've got something to cater for every member of the family and I've tried most of it! (Safe to say you won't go home hungry!) The quality is incredible and the portioning is healthy! The presentation is spectacular and you can see how much love and care has gone into each plate of food that goes into the restaurant/ lounge. They're fantastic for supporting the local community too and try to use locally sourced fruit, veg and meat wherever possible. Just all around a wonderful dining experience with lovely, friendly hosts who are willing to do anything to make your visit more comfortable! Gorgeoussssss
We were staying locally on holiday and dropped in on a Thursday evening. Excellent food and great friendly service. I had a blue cheese chicken dish and my wife had a chicken & mushroom dish. Well cooked and large portions. We really enjoyed it and would recommend this venue to anyone.
This was out local on holiday when we stayed nearby for the week. We came in to eat 3 nights and each time was fantastic. The food was great. Amazing veggie options for me. Homemade veggie sausages, linguine and curry were all fab. There were other choices too!! Chef cooks any of the mains as kids meals or can do any of the kids standards. Our 5 year old had fish fingers, chicken nuggets and chicken burger. All were great. She even said he's the best cook in the world!! We'd normally find as many different places to try on holiday as we can, but this was so good we had to keep coming back.
We have just been for a brilliant Sunday lunch at this amazingly welcoming inn. There was 10 of us and they accommodated us really well. It was quick efficient and friendly service. The waiter rowan was very polite and willing to help and I also think the fact he’s learning Welsh is admirable as in this area of wales it’s nice to see he’s willing to make the effort. The food was delicious and great value for money. Plenty of it and the desserts were fantastic. What a lovely charming inn. We shall definitely return and highly recommend.
We happened upon this place whilst exploring the area during a family holiday. We booked a table and came back for Sunday lunch - boy, are we glad we did! The food was lovely, and desserts were just as sumptuously prepared. The waiting staff were very friendly and seemed to love where they were working - very different from the draining pub workers of Birmingham. We would really recommend!
