About us

Welcome to The Lamb and Flag. Restored from a crumbling 19th century building, the ‘Lamb’ mixes warm exposed brickwork with big open windows and a superb courtyard beer garden. It also has plenty of space for private bookings, with a separate upstairs bar and balcony and a downstairs snug with private terrace. You’ll find the full range of Leeds Brewery beers behind the bar, complemented by an extensive range of draught lagers, wines, spirits, soft drinks and a menu of locally sourced, freshly cooked food. What’s not to love?.

Absolutely delicious food! We had the Sunday roast and the steak and ale pie, and then shared the sticky toffee pudding. Everything we had was amazing , and the quality of the food was top notch, and the service was quick. I would definitely recommend this place for food and drinks!

Cosy and Relaxing atmosphere. Great Ale selection and good food. A good find in the City Centre.

A terrific venue with a great choice of ales set in a stunning location by the Minster. Only here for the beer so can’t comment on the food. A Leeds Brewery House although other guest ales are available. Top knowledgeable bartender gave me some excellent recommendations where else to visit - much appreciated 👍🏻

Weekend away in Leeds with my mother and sister. Booked in based on google reviews and we were not disappointed! I chose the vegan starter, not because I’m vegan….I’m not… it just sounded amazing and it was! Both my mother and sister equally enjoyed their starters. I had the mushrooms, mother had the mussels and my sister had the mackerel pâté each one of us said their own starter was to die for. For mains we all went for the Sunday roast beef, the Yorkshire puddings alone, give the meal 10 out of 10 I like a smaller meal and asked for a children’s portion which was perfect for me, both my mother and sister had full adult size portions and we all had to leave some on the plate. There was just too much but the vegetables were fresh. The meal was hot. The beef was good. I asked for some more gravy which we got no bother. Fantastic Sunday roast.
