Has changed its name now. We came here for a meal in a group of 6 and not one of us liked the food. The chips are stuck in the 90s still from when your gran or mum used to over cooked them to look black and they were horrible. Two of my friends both ordered the exact same dish for them to come out looking completely different. The food was so disappointing. On another note though the atmosphere was great, music was amazing and the garden outside seating area is amazing.
Fantastic wee gem of a place, servuce of great, atmosphere was brilliant, and the restaurant is lovely, we thoroughly enjoyed our experience, iam vegan and my food was lovely. I will definitely be back
Went tonight for a birthday and was such a vibe, the music was amazing and the pub quiz was great fun! Service was slower, but it was packed, and the staff were really putting effort into making sure you got your food and drinks. It's a very artsy place being right next to the uni, with mostly students. Through the quiz, there were lots of inappropriate team names, so maybe not so Kid friendly, but I'm sure during the day it's fab 😊
Went at 12:30pm on a Sunday so it was very quiet. Ordered fajitas (which were a bit too spicy for me) but still really good… and cheesy fries which were absolutely unreal. Best I’ve had! Our male sever was lovely, however I will say there was a young female server moaning loudly about having to serve people drinks which I would say is very unprofessional… maybe keep it for staff only areas next time.
Enormous beer garden, that was nowhere close to packed on a sunny Sunday afternoon. They have a really big menu with substantial veggy options. The jackfruit burger was very good, as were the loaded fries. Service was quick and friendly. Only minus is that the draft beer offerings are a bit limited, but they have an okay selection of bottles.
