I had the Sunday roast with beef and turkey - a fantastic pub dinner! Great amount of gravy too, which normally places cheap on. This with a pint of Coke was about £18, do book ahead xx

Good pub, prices are slightly high but that's due to be a chain. Manager took care of our large group and allowed us to celebrate new years eve early .

Ordered Burgers & Chips with onion rings as well as scampi and chips. All the chips and onion rings can lukewarm and the burger was partially burnt. The bar was not busy so not sure why the kitchen can’t get a simple order like that right! Staff asked about food and got us a plate of hot chips, shame it hadn’t all arrive like that on the first place.

We came at end of November for early Christmas celebrations. Outside area was serving a Christmas Bap, and it was pretty darn good and very reasonable priced It's a great venue, with lovely outdoor space on the canal

This place seems ‘Not for Everyone’ My recent visit to the Greene King in Sale, Manchester left me with a rather unpleasant experience. I placed an order through the app and waited for 15 minutes, but no one brought my order to me. The bar was relatively quiet at the time, so I approached the staff at the bar to inquire about my order. Unfortunately, they seemed disinterested and didn’t acknowledge me until after a few minutes of waiting. When I finally got their attention and mentioned my app order, I was informed that they prioritize serving customers at the bar before attending to app orders. While I understand the need to balance service, it left me feeling unwelcome and ignored. It’s disheartening to think that this experience may have been influenced by my ethnicity. Inclusivity and hospitality should be extended to all patrons, regardless of their background. My visit to this restaurant made me feel like it may not be a welcoming place for everyone, and that’s a shame. I hope the management takes this feedback into consideration to improve their service and ensure a more inclusive and pleasant environment for all customers
