You cant fault this spoons! Great staff, awesome large venue with lively outdoors garden right beside the river... For what you pay... the food is consistently good and drinks are good value 4 money... I have not stayed in the hotel for some years and so I did not review those..
Used the bar services several times while staying in King’s Lynn, but didn’t stay at the hotel. Large seating area with large bar. Lots of friendly, efficient staff on hand. Great selection of drinks and meals. Service very fast compared to other Wetherspoons. Can get extremely busy & noisy but efficiency remains very good.
This place is fairly decent, nothing overly fancy but you get what you pay for. Decent food, decent drink. Queuing system was a bit strange and they seemed a bit understaffed but nothing too negative. Good place and will visit again.
Did not stay overnight so gave a room 3 stars but the Globe is right on the main square of Kings Lynn and on a freezing Saturday evening shopping 🛍 in December it was a relief to enter a lovely warm pub with a good atmosphere and great prices for the drinks. We stayed at the Dukes Head Hotel but the bar prices are so pricey (look for my other review) we decided to have drinks at the Globe before going back to the hotel for a Christmas 🎄 function. Great pub right on the main square
Good old school venue for a break in King's Lynn. Room rate is very reasonable plus there is a Wetherspoons bar downstairs for breakfast and evening meal. The rooms were a good size but could have done with more storage space for clothes. Bed was okay and room well heated. The shower was functional and powerful though a little old fashioned. The hotel is right in the middle of the town so you can get around by foot. Staff were friendly and helpful.
