It's a family friendly pub restaurant, situated just off the A38 (next to the Kingsway retail park) and only a mile from Derby City Centre. Choose from our delicious carvery with prices starting from £3.99 or our wide ranging menu which includes vegetarian options. Kids will love the outdoor children's play area or indoor toy corner and once they have worked up an appetite why not treat them to something from our new children's menu. I had asked for a quiet table, as we had just come from a Celebration of Life and were all in a quiet mood. We were not disappointed, and were very comfortable. The food was very good, and so was the service. I will definitely choose to eat there again.
When we arrived our booked table wasn’t ready due to the previous customers refusing to leave. This was obviously annoying for us but the staff were excellent at making it as easy as possible for us to enjoy our time. They accommodated us as quickly as possible and made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The situation could have been a disaster but, thanks to your staff, our party had a wonderful time. Thank you!
Always have a lovely meal,both the roast and off the menu. Staff are very pleasant always very helpful and accommodating. Not sure what they have done to the Zinfandel, always used to be lovely but now it's quite unpleasant. Would recommend this pub to anyone wanting a door meal with lovely atmosphere
Lovely pub, friendly staff, and comfortable and relaxing to sit down and enjoy a meal. I had a Sunday carvery and it was delicious. The beef was the best meat I had from a carvery, it was so tender and tasted perfect. The bar staff was also friendly, and quick service. 10/10 for food and service. Definitely recommended
Very pleasant staff, clean well maintained, warm and welcoming. The food was hot, some of the vegetable's were dried out in the carvery. Its not uncommon to see this in carvery's, but these were really too dried out. However the meal was nice and there is a good selection of drinks available. We noticed how the staff were quick to clean an area after guests had left.
