Situated on the very edge of the lovely village of Napton on the Hill, surrounded by beautiful Warwickshire Countryside and only a short walk from the Grand Union/Oxford Canal (bridge 110) & Marinas.
We booked for a group birthday meal and I'm glad we did as it was busy, even the first Saturday after Christmas! There were only two staff serving drinks and food, so as it got busier at lunchtime service time did slow. But the service itself was friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating; we brought a cake with us and they were great organising it to come out at the right time. Food was just what we wanted, not a massive menu but good range and tasty food too. Plenty of veggie and vegan choices for the amount of menu items and they adjusted as we needed too. We will be back for a meal in the future
Stopped in today for a quick spot of lunch. One Hot Pizza and one Napton Buffalo burger and they were both absolutely delicious. Little wonder we have struggled to get a table previously! Good service from a friendly team. Looking forward to our next visit.
Lovely pub and staff plus dig friendly too! We went on Tuesday for their burger night though I was swayed by the cowboy pizza instead. Very friendly and good food :)
Absolutely outstanding place. Food was excellent with a great choice for varying dietary requirements. The service was fantastic, we were thoroughly looked after for the entire time. Good banter from the staff, very friendly. Great drinks selection as well as the main food menu. Would definitely recommend. Cost wise, very reasonably priced.
The staff are kind and good and the portions are very good for the price. The drinks came out quick enough but the food looked AMAZING and the burger was the best that I’ve had in a long while and was very filling and they have a good selection on the menu. It’s a great environment inside and out and mainly inside is very well decorated while making it an excellent place to sit and eat food. The kids menu has good portions for children as well while keeping it at a reasonable price. There are always different specials making it a good place to come continually and not get bored. Would recommend and come again. Edit: I ended up having the sorbet for dessert and it was amazing.
