Awesome food and service, great to see it’s under new management
Lovely building. However pub was cold and empty. Food was awful. It’s microwave fayre which we expected but it really was terrible.
A really good traditional tavern full of good old fashioned pub atmosphere and history. This is also the pub where a wall painting of the last supper from the 1500s was discovered. Definitely worth a visit for a relaxing rest and drink.
This is a great pub, young couple running it very nice people, in there Friday night had a great time will definitely be going in again when we are uptown
Great find in Shrewsbury Came off the main road to find food to avoid motorway fare and found this lovely pub. Good atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff. The roast dinner was good, although I would have preferred non-frozen veg but at that price you can't complain. Full of history, including a mediaeval wall painting
