We had lunch at the kings head inn today and it was a really nice experience. The chicken parmo and club sandwich were both delicious and there was plenty of treats on the bar for the dog and also a doggy menu aswell. Setting of the pub is amazing with roseberry topping backdrop. We can’t wait return and stay for the night 😊
Good pub. Gastropub decor, but comfy. Staff were great, cask beer was local and good. Food was surprisingly excellent. Had fish and chips with some of the best chips I've ever had in a pub.
Fabulous 1 night stop over. Rescheduled at no extra cost after bad weather. Evening Food / drink and serving staff - excellent. Lovely warm rooms and the best bit, a breakfast to die for! Really enjoyed and we will be back soon. Great climb up RT next day. Highly recommended.
Stayed here for 2 night the room was clean tidy and had a comfortable bed. The bar area and restaurant is modern & clean all staff were friendly and polite. The grounds are landscaped and well kept with pretty tubs and windows boxes full of flowers. There is a large car park at the rear with great views of Roseberry Topping. I enjoyed my stay here so would definitely stay here again.
Beautiful old pub/ building & location. Our room was lovely, very clean & perfect for a one night stay. All of the staff that we came into contact with were all so friendly & professional , it was a really lovely welcoming atmosphere. Extra special thanks to their ‘maintenance Guy’ Rob who saved the day , rescuing our keys from our locked car!! He went above & beyond :) We will definitely be returning in the future.
