Amazing staff and friendly, anything we asked was no trouble at all, the bed was comfy room was a good size and bathroom was really nice. Food was fantastic we will definitely be returning

Such a beautiful place, staff were wonderful. Room was very comfortable and modern. Bar was open till very late. Fantastic stay overall.

We loved the room, the helpful, friendly staff, and the location. What we did NOT know, however, is that you walk through the pub to get to the entrance to the rooms, which are upstairs (that was ok with us) or that there is NO LIFT! The staff carried our bags up for us, and we just got a bit more exercise -- so all was well.

From the first moment checking in I knew this would be a great place. The Nepalese owner greeted me and he was charming and friendly. He made no fuss about storing our bikes securely in their function room. The hotel room was comfortable enough and clean. A bit noisy but it was Friday night in the centre of town so what can you expect. The food though was sublime. Some of the best curry I've ever had, it was exactly what we needed after all day cycling. Pleasant serving staff and a great, generous breakfast in the morning. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting or passing through Abergavenny.

We stayed for one night, wish it had been more. We stayed in room 4 which is a big room and has all you need. The location is superb, right in the heart of everything. There was live music in the bar but to be honest once we got back to the room we couldn’t hear it. The bed was really comfortable. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was the best we’d had in a long time. Would I return? Yes I would.
