Food was lovely staff were lovely. We had to wait over an hour for food and wasn’t notified when we ordered puddings they arrived but the tables were still full of our dinner pots. Overall good experience and will come back but maybe a good idea for you to inform of long waits. We had 3 very hungry children
It’s brilliant to see good range of Gluten Free food.. it’s slightly bit expensive for what we had.. gluten free hunter’s chicken - the chicken was tiny! they covered up the chicken with chips so it not noticeable until we start eating. The chicken is about same size as half the size of the glasses case!! They cooked and served quite quick 👍 It’s very busy, you need to book a table if you don’t want to wait long to eat.
I've been coming to the King's Corner a few times in the past year and the food has always been very good and the service cheerful and obliging. Myself and a friend decided to treat ourselves to a Christmas dinner this year and we have to say that it for exceeded our expectations of a pub Christmas meal. Right from the start we were greeted by friendly and helpful ladies, we were shown to a table which was laid out lovely in a very nice part of the restaurant and we were so happy that it felt very festive and the atmosphere was great. It was warm, cosy and inviting. We had a three course meal and I have to say the food was fabulous, everything was presented very nicely to us and was steaming hot. The turkey was succulent and all the trimmings were wonderful plenty of veg and proper sausage meat stuffing and not just a cheap version of Paxo. The roast potatoes were close to ones you would make yourself at home and that is not often the case when you eat out. I have to say the highlight of the whole meal was the Clementine and lemon citrus tart that we had which was absolutely mouth watering and I would love to be a permanent addition to the daily dessert menu. I have to say the most notable thing was how wonderful the staff were they kept checking in on us and they just couldn't do enough to help us. I hope the new manager really appreciates them! Good staff with such exemplary customer service skills are hard to find. So thank you to Christina, Rebecca and Charlotte, I hope you get a good Christmas bonus this year 🎅🎁🎉
I'm so sorry for the 4 star rating because I have a little black hair in my lunch and my and my lovely friend of mine who treated me for my lunch our lunch was cold apart from the chips they were hot but we was in company with other people in our group but I didn't want to make a fuss about it all tho the staff were very friendly towards us all on the day
Staff with friendly the food was okay for how much it costs. As it was steak Club I had a rump steak with a beer came to just under £12 they also managed to cook the steak medium rare which was impressive My wife had hunters chicken the portion size was really good and flavor was okay.
