As featured in "Fresh Meat" - Situated just off Chapel Street, the Kings Arms is a pub, music venue and theatre with artist's studios. A bit more than your average boozer.
The Kings Arms has a performance space and bar upstairs which is used for theatre, comedy, gigs, film screenings, poetry nights and fairs.
We are also a meeting place for lots of local groups including our own knitting group - the Kings Knitters, the Salford Friendly Anglers, The Manchester and Salford Ramblers, Rapper Dancers, Open Mic Nights and an Anarchist group.

One of the top five best pubs across Greater Manchester. Friendly staff, great beers and the customers it attracts are just so lovely and friendly. Feels like a proper local even after all this time with great music in rotation, its own local theatre and of course, Charlie the cat.
A very historic pub, beautiful both on the outside and inside. Friendly atmosphere with an excellent choice of quality ales. Regularly has theatre, comedy, gigs and other entertainment in the upstairs room. A meeting place of numerous local groups including the world's oldest angling club. Overall a brilliant pub.
Great pub with a brilliant beer selection, live music and a friendly pub cat! Will definitely visit again next time I'm in Manchester.
An excellent pub, which we've only come here for drinks. Been a few times, and it's always such a great "bohemian" and friendly atmosphere. Happily can waste a night here playing some of the supplied board games or friendly chatting. Good range of beers/cider and the staff always friendly and helpful.
Came across this pub when trying to find somewhere to enjoy a bit of craic on a Sat night. Was close to the hotel so figured we'd give it a go. It was busy and there was a comedy night upstairs. Everyone was very friendly and the prices were great. Only reason for not giving 5 stars is because I had to go online and create an account to buy tickets to go into the comedy show even tho I was there - they had no way of taking money from us directly; and the ladies wcs were very compact and doors insecure. But we had a fab evening !!
