A wonderful haven to find in the floods when our nation trust visit was closed. Yummy lunch and coffee and our welcome by Zoe and service was so warm and jolly. Will be back on our next try to visit!
We stayed at the Kings Arms Inn for a nearby wedding. The service was fantastic - especially from the breakfast team (and the food was great). Room was pretty basic but served us well. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.
I always like to come back here when I work down in Yeovil. The area is picturesque and very relaxing, especially on a sunny day. The hotel staff are always lovely and helpful. Rooms are comfy and full of character. Plus the food is a whole another bonus! I had a lovely Venison Sweet Potato Pie which was spot on, very comforting and full of flavour. Then the Beef Sirloin was cooked to absolute perfection with the most amazing presentation and all the ingredients are not just there for the looks, it all goes together perfectly. Very yummy. It's clear that this place is well looked after 😊
Lovely pub in a quaint village. Room was comfy and clean with a lovely bed and bed linen. Nice to have a decent shower with soft towels . Wonderful breakfast - had a full English - a proper one. Quality all round - enjoyed the stay. Car park at the rear with a nice pub garden. Montacute house and grounds are well worth a visit too.
Clean and comfortable motel style accommodation. The stand out was the food on offer in the restaurant. Although the menu is basic and limited my pork belly was outstanding and a true work of art. The chef is excellent with exceptional skills in an otherwise fairly unremarkable Inn. Go for the food. Absolutely fabulous!
