Christine and Barry are the most welcoming. We stumbled across this lovely place when we first moved here and were welcomed with open arms and have been back every week since.
Stayed one night- arrived late afternoon and headed off early, so I didn’t really get much of a look on the dining scene. Rooms were reasonable and clean. Well supplied with tea, coffee and milk. The shower could do with some instructions as it took a few minutes to work out why the water wouldn’t turn on.
Ideal place for bed and breakfast bar has been closed a few years though
Great locals pub with good beer. Outside seating area catches the sun. Very popular during rugby matches at Ebbw Vale with the entrance 10m away. It's a great pub and 4 stars is right for this, don't expect too much, just enjoy the place....
We have just returned from a lovely stay at the Kings Arms. We had a lovely clean room, nothing was too much for the friendly staff. Really enjoyable breakfast, set you up for the day. Will definitely go back again. Caroline Giles
