Quintessentially British boozer. Get to know the highly welcoming locals, landlady and her staff and you’ve just become part of your favourite soap opera! Give it a go, you’ll be pleasantly surprised. Doesn’t serve food so 5* review on food relates to crisps and peanuts only, which I don’t recommend if you’ve got a nut allergy.
Brilliant little local, the staff are always so welcoming and make you feel right at home and can have a good laugh with. Perfect little hidden gem in the village
A wonderful pub with superb Marstons Pedigree, I am sure all other beers are wonderful also. Lucy, the landlady, is wonderful and makes everyone welcome. A pub you should visit
Great selection of bars snacks including chocolate, crisps, scratching and nuts. Very friendly atmosphere for everyone dogs included. Great fun to be had every month with book club, bingo, quiz and play your cards right with awesome prizes.
We booked for the breakfast with Santa, and it did not disappoint. The pub is festively decorated, a giant Christmas tree outside and a lovely corner for Santa to meet the children. Fun for all ages, plenty of drinks available, some tree decorating to do before Santa arrived. Delicious cooked breakfast, fresh toast with a selection of spreads in individual pots. Lucy and the elves are really friendly and made it extra special, one elf took pictures of our table and the Santa visits. Santa was very interactive with the children, they all got a gift and a little chat.
