This hotel really is Killin it :) Incredible place in a gorgeous area, some of the best food I’ve ever had. Super cozy pub, very close to a castle, waterfall, and beautiful loch. At night, the stars are gorgeous. The town is my favorite place I’ve ever been, and the hotel was small in the best of ways. Antique elevator was awesome, and everyone was incredibly friendly. Don’t miss out on this place!!
This is an old hotel and our third visit. We love the location and the views surrounding the hotel. The rooms are a little dated but are very clean and wouldn't let that put you off staying there. Some staff are very friendly and will go out of their way to accommodate any requests. Food was ok, a bit pricey but ok. Good stocked bar which was always busy, a good sign.
Awesome location with in a quaint village. The staff were awesome throughout, and a great bar area with a fireplace. The haggis was on point. Would definitely stay again. The general area is great too, loads to see and do (Dewars/Aberfeldy distillery).
I have stayed at the Killin hotel numerous times over the years with my family. Always enjoyed my stay. The staff are brilliant and the food has always been excellent. It's a very peaceful place, the location is fantastic right on the river and there's plenty to do if you like the outdoors. Can't fault it and will always be back.
My wife and I visited the hotel with two friends for four nights in a row for food only. We all agreed that it has to rank as some of the best food we have ever eaten. There was a great choice of menu at a very reasonable price. You could eat there for ten nights and not have to repeat one meal. The chef was superb. The manageress was super friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We would certainly recommend the restaurant and we will certainly be back. The only change we would make is that dogs should be banned from the restaurant or at least be made to sit in just one area of the restaurant.🍴🍺🥰
