Just an absolute friendly place.. always a great atmosphere....drinks are reasonably priced as well .... great place to get together.
Friendly social club for local people. Amazing building designed in the Egyptian Style by the important architect John Foulston and completed in 1824.
Friendly pub with great prices! Large function room, and thrives with darts, cards and pool teams throughout the week! Even holds larger occasions like weddings!
Great place with so much history. Staff are really friendly. Held my mum and dad's 65th/75th birthday here. Big room, able to play own music, bar staff even kept up with our order! Great place for a function. We will be joining as members.
I used to go here when I lived in devonport. I always found it a friendly place to go to for a drink and socialise. The owners always made you feel welcome and had the local community in their hearts. There is a good selection of drinks to choose from. And they serve cooked food. It's quite spacious and has a large function room upstairs with its own bar. There is now also a beer garden to the rear. And you can go outside there if you want to smoke. They have a dance area for music nights of which is popular. I moved away from the area a few years ago. But went back for a meet up with friends. And that same feeling of friendship is still there . Such a welcoming place. If your near please go have a nice drink and soak up that friendship.
