Waitress changed our table with no fuss. Very helpful to ensure we got the best deal for our voucher. Food good (could do with slightly more meat). Excellent vegetables choice. Good desert. Very good value for money, using voucher. Very good meal overall. Thank you.
Occasionally dine here as it is relatively good value. This visit, the food was better than usual, maybe they have a new chef. Even the gravy was a nice thickness and flavourful, not watery like it normally is. Plus, a couple of new options in the veg section, boiled onions (which my partner loves), and a sliced potato and carrot mix, which I enjoyed more than the roasties. Unheard of! Will return in February to check this was not just a lucky fluke. Will choose a different day too.
It is a lovely looking building makes you want to visit so is a great start. We were nicely greeted on entry having phoned to say we were running a bit late and were told the table would be held for a further 10 mins. Our drinks order was taken quickly and the waitress explained we could go to get our food when we were ready.
The food was first class as usual. Cooked to perfection. Waitress was very attentive , always had a smile on her face. Just a pity I can't remember her name. In my opinion things don't need improving. It all works nicely as it is
This place can be very busy, so make sure to book in advance. I have been to several locations, but I feel that this location is probably one of the best. I recommend all. But my favourites are roast beef, gammon and roast pork (with meat on fat). Side dishes are nicely cooked and never overly done. Gravy is a must!
