The location is brilliant, if you can find it that is. That’s the only positive. It’s like walking into jumangi. It’s ridiculous for a public house. It stinks of dogs doo doo. The rats running around is another subject. 4 real ale pumps but not enough be of them on. Young bar maid was drunk and rude, constantly out smoking and ignoring customers. The place needs a clean and some air fresheners and just some looking after. It’s awful
Dropped in today made welcome and food available after 3pm! Really great roast and veggies pie, reasonable prices and good beer served well. Also not forgetting live music great Ska/Regae singers from 3pm. Pleased we called in.
Friendly staff with good range of beers in a tiny quiet village right next to a beautiful 900 year old church. The bar lady Sue was very welcoming and I had the best roast dinner of my entire life courtesy of their new chef Kieran. Thanks and we’ll come back soon.
Stop by as not seen this pub before and was really nice and relaxing. Plenty space for kids to play although play equipment needs to be fixed up. Nice views and hope to return again soon to eat.
On my way home from cycling the British Isles. Gale force wind kept me from proceeding to Dover. The landlord allowed me to pitch my tent on their ground for 2 nights. Despite not serving breakfast, I got free coffee in the morning. Very friendly staff. Best hospitality received apart from family and friends in the UK. Thank you
