This pub only reopened four days ago after being renovated (long overdue). The pub now looks much cleaner and was definitely warmer. Unfortunately, we sat upstairs, and each time we ordered a pint of Carlsberg, the barman had to go downstairs, so there was a delay in getting our drinks. In the ladies toilets, the hand drier wasn't working, and the hand sanitiser was empty. The bar staff were very mixed; one barmaid was so miserable she could have turned the beer sour! I think there is lots of room for improvement.

Update December 2023 Just reopened after refurbishment, not all beers were available as advertised. Very unlikely to be beaten on price. Update August 2023 Still has a great range of beers at low prices. Fantastic aray of beers at unbelievable prices. Very good breakfast and it won't break the bank!!! Great clean toilets.

Food, to be honest, isn't bad for the price, Staff are extremely grumpy. But if you were providing 40%abv shots at 10.30 am you would be. Plus the mess. From sitting down to ordering and receiving food. This plate left by someone else was just left here

If you're looking for a unique dining experience in Maidstone, look no further than Spoon, The Muggleton Inn! This restaurant has an incredible design that sets it apart from other establishments in the area. The staff are also incredibly friendly and welcoming, which adds to the overall experience. The restaurant itself was quite clean, which was definitely a plus. However, I couldn't help but notice the ceiling, which appeared to have sustained rain damage. While it didn't detract too much from the overall atmosphere, it's certainly something that should be addressed. As for the food, I was quite impressed. While it did take a little longer than expected for my meal to arrive, it was definitely worth the wait. The dishes were piping hot and freshly made, and the flavours were quite good. All in all, this Wheterspoon in the city center of Maidstone is definitely worth a visit if you're in the area. While there are some areas that could use improvement (like the ceiling), the food and atmosphere with the incredible decorations make up for it in spades.

Very nice cosy Wetherspoon. UK's most popular pub chain that offers food, hot and cold drinks etc. This one in particular in an old building. It has very nice spacious hall with a lot of table. It had front and backyard gardens. Food is bargain. Especially I have tried curry ?chicken tikka masala. It was really delicious. On Thursdays there is curry offer usualky 2 pounds cheaper than usual. Coffee and tea is refill and 1.35 p only. I highly recommend this place.
