First time I’ve been here and food was great well presented and tasted amazing, good quality produce, staff was friendly and welcoming, definitely be back, place is a hidden gem
We had a Sunday lunch here a few weeks ago. Food was enjoyable and there was plenty of meat, could have definitely been warmer. The service was extremely slow but I wouldn’t judge them on that if you were here as a family of 4, as we were a very large group so it’s to be expected. The location/parking isn’t ideal depending on what car you’re in.
Lovely staff. But not a good menu if you are vegetarian or vegan. One of our party had sausage and mash which was a miniscule portion and at £12.95 was vastly overpriced. Music was very loud made it hard to converse and the lighting was very dim.
Great bar that attracts guests from all over the area to sample their food. Good selection of beers and wines at a decent price. Set in a lovely little village but a bit out of the way so book a taxi to take you home.
Popped in for a Sunday lunch, all I can say is fabulous!!! All the staff were polite and attentive. The lunch it's self was one of the best we've had, plenty of food and hot the wife loved the rolled lamb shoulder. I know this place had a bad name but it's really changed. We will be back. Thank you.
