Situated in Southfleet, one of the most picturesque corners of Kent, The Ship Inn is a village pub at the heart of the community.
A 13th century building built from timbers of a Ship that run aground on the river Fleet. The pub has plenty of character features including fireplaces, low ceilings, original beams and a few cosy corners. The Ship Inn welcomes loyal locals, along with visitors from further afield, serving a selection of local beers, cask ales and great wines by the glass. Not forgetting the fully stocked Gin selection and varied Whiskey shelf.
Our bar Grazing Menu is available throughout the day to enjoy in front of a crackling fire during winter or on our sun-soaked summer patio in the warmer months.
Great food, lovely friendly staff and lovely country pub atmosphere, we will be back....
Came here for an evening meal with family. The service was excellent and the staff were lovely. The food was delicious and there was a good choice of dishes on the menu. The pub had a nice cosy feel to it and I like the location.
Went and had the Burns Night menu- absolutely delicious. Good selection to choose from. We had haggis to start and Beef Wellington main. Couldn't decide on dessert so had all three between the two of us with a wiskey aswell. Gentle Scottish themed music was a lovely touch. Thanks to Alisha and all the staff - always welcoming. Lastly, the biggest thank you goes to the chef who always cooks the beautifully presented meals.
I made an enquiry with Emma a few months ago to see if she could accommodate 30 of us in The Orangery for my son's 30th birthday meal. We were liasing for a few months with numbers etc and Emma kindly arranged to do a set menu for all the guests and was even mindful of the fact we had some vegetarians and Gluten Free people. The evening was a great success this Saturday. Many guests had never been before and were impressed with the quality of the food and efficiency and friendliness of all the staff involved. They couldnt have been more helpful. Thank you again to everybody for such a wonderful night.
Went there for Sunday roast. Their beetroot wellington is one of the best vegetarian roasts I've had. The chicken roast was soft and tender. The mushroom on garlic bread was delicious too.
