Amazing hall so friendly and welcoming had my mums wedding g after party there was the best ❤️❤️and I have one question if someone could help wanting to hire the hall for my gender reveal and was wondering how much for the hall 💙💖
I've said this to the barmaid but a pool table would be nice. Real ale as well would be good. Relaxing atmosphere and friendly staff. Yet to go on a music night. But glad I and my wife joined last year.
I have been a member in here for many years now and it is a very comfortable place to come and have a drink. Whether that be alcoholic, non-alcoholic, or nice pot of tea. It is very civilized in here and regardless of your political stripes, everyone is welcome here. They have music most weekends with dancing and they have a hall off to the side which can be rented for all kinds of events. It's a very sensible place to come and have a conversation and enjoy your drink.
Chrissy is so rude! I asked to book this Sunday for 2 hours for a photoshoot. Willing to pay and I was told tbe date is available and just confirming prices and I'd be called today and I didn't get a call so I rang back and Chrissy has the audacity to say it's been given to someone else on this date and that they don't allow photpshoots. Why does it matter if its a photoshoot, meeting or a party. Its just a hall hire. Absolutely disgusting. Her attitude is awful. Avoid at all costs. Shouldn't have such awful managers. Shame on you and shame on the board for not helping small businesses. Disgraceful. You should be closed down. Get better managers in place that have a better tone of voice and better people skills.
Used to be a very Happy and welcoming club of which I have been a member of for years. Now there is no atmosphere, not very welcoming and mostly a couldn't care less attitude from a number of staff whose priority is attending to the whims of directors and associated "Penny millionaires". Won't be renewing my membership. Also not a disabled friendly place. Only one disabled toilet, difficult to get to, and not available if the adjacent Thames Room is in use for meetings and functions. And no dogs allowed - including guide dogs! Was told that the club was exempt from disability legislation. Also very child unfriendly.
