Dead on a Saturday night, bar staff clearly had nothing better to do as they decided one of the people in my party had done something ultra-offensive - he took a picture of his friend and her mum (who was lovely) was in the picture - then after deleting said pictures, just made us feel unwelcome. If they want to drive away customers and probably about £50 worth of beer orders, fine, but don't cry when your pub dies and you have no job. Awful, awful attitude to have.

I live in Chavi Chatham and got bored on a Friday, so went on a kidz pub crawl in Gillingham . . . My son is 12, and it was only 8pm, but we got sent away from:- A) The Monarch B) The Southern Bell... Despite.the fact that I saw Vicky Pollard wearing a pink cappa tracksuit with 3 pushchairs & 6 kids... But not from The Woodlands tavern/The Canterbury Tales. Kid friendly all the way!!

Visited for Darts purposes. Great venue, cheap beer in fact they were doing a buy one get one free 7-9pm Happy days. Parking is tight though.

Great pub with friendly locals, even allowed to eat KFC from just across the street inside. They have a pool table and three dart boards. Enjoyed playing badly in the darts tornament while watching the rugby. All in all, a nice pub with a friendly atmosphere compared to some of the others I've been in.
