Situated in the heart of Dover and facing on to the Market Square this pub has had many incarnations over the years. Re-opened on Friday, 12th July 2019 - reverting to its original name.
Our drinks menu has been meticulously crafted to combine flavours from around the globe into one seamless and complementary selection. Come and try our delicious Pays d'Oc Malbec; let us fetch you a stein of our crisp Munich Pilsner or perhaps a more local pint of glistening amber ale from the heart of Kent's farmland.
For a lighter bite, we have an ever changing selection of sweet and savoury delicacies, so just ask inside!
Our Pizza menu is something we're really proud of here at the Elephant and Hind. We use the finest quality, locally sourced sourdough for our bases, finished with a carefully chosen selection of artisanal toppings.

All round amazing! Can not fault a single thing here.. The food is always on point, the staff are all lovely and the best atmosphere! Best place in Dover for a drink and food!
Had a lovely beer and a fantastic Sunday roast. Would highly recommend. The bar staff Kimmy and Izzy were friendly and warm.
Really good service from Kimmy with a proper British pub vibe with the footy on and the Sunday lunch I ate way too much of and couldn't finish. Would recommend.
Accommodating of allergies. Asked when booking and pizza sauce was made garlic free for the whole day, very thoughtful as our daughter did order pizza! Burgers and pizza delicious. Enjoyed playing pool too. Thanks for a fun evening.
One of the best fish and chips I've had! Lovely, attentive service, just a pity they were out of Guinness! 🥲 but otherwise really recommend,a meal and a drink there is a perfect ending for a long day walking up and down the White Cliffs of Dover 🙌
