Nice pub, freindly staff. Good selection of beer.
The weirdest experience ever. No choice of wines! Shocking for a pub. Food is not "fresh" mostly processed and overcooked. Thin gravy. Orders mixed up unsure if we were eating beef or lamb!? Says they stock local ales? Ordered an otter ale given doom bar. Was practically empty. Would not go here or recommend for Sunday lunch.
Had a few ales and a very tasty, reasonably priced cottage pie. Staff and clientele very friendly. Thoroughly recommend
visited a friend in Sidcup yesterday and popped into this pub by the off chance it did food. Really nice pub and food was nice and freshly cooked. Landlord was a gentleman and nice to meet an old school publican. Staff were polite and welcoming. Would be pleased to use this as my local if I lived in the area. Tom the steeplejack.
Great local pub, good ale selection, welcoming atmosphere, Sunday lunches are great, please support our local pubs to keep our tradition going !
