A good old fashioned local, bare boards, wooden dining furniture, and a good selection on the bar.
Popped in for a spot of lunch on a recent visit to Canterbury. Was very nice, good beer and food. Friendly bar staff. It was a weekday lunch so relatively quiet and relaxing.
Quiet when we first went in then it livened up when about 12 walked in. Best duke box in Canterbury!
Nice pub with good selection of ale. Does food. Seating inside or out.
Lovely well kept traditional pub. Excellent local real ales, good prices and friendly staff. Black Country pork scratchings, good music with a cozy relaxed atmosphere and even though we weren't eating this time the menu looked nice. Time seemed to pass very quickly. Will be back.
