A great opportunity for a great local pub. It's going to be a real uphill struggle for the new owner. I hope he gets all the support he needs from the local community. Great pub, great potential. Will visit again to check on progress. Good luck and hope you succeed.
Nice little quiet pub with friendly staff and atmosphere nice pint and the Barman will even knock up a bit of grub for ya if wanted definitely worth a visit xx
My daughter and I popped in because my grandchildren were attending a party nearby. There is a lovely atmosphere in this pub. The owner and customers were extremely welcoming. I absolutely loved the sign saying it's family friendly and will not tolerate drugs on the premises! There is a large car park . It's clean and the coffee is fab. We will definitely visit again.
We stopped here one morning early August on the off chance whilst looking for something to eat and we were not disappointed! My wife had the steak burger with chips and I had the full English, both meals were excellent as was the service! Really nicely done up place and we hope that the new landlord does well as he’s really put a lot of effort into it.

For wonderful riverside views in a relaxing location, a visit to the Grove Ferry Inn is a must. The pub’s idyllic setting, with the River Stour running past, is just one its many attractions.

If you’re looking for a beer garden that seamlessly blends into the Kent countryside, the Red Lion in Stodmarsh is the one for you. The pub has been around for centuries and new management have injected it with a great new lease of life.
