My friend and I held our 30th birthday party at celebrations and couldn't have picked a better venue. Emma and her team did an excellent job. She made sure she had plenty of staff working the bar on the night, all of which were very friendly and helpful. The venue itself is perfect for a party - the kids loved playing in the big garden! I would definitely recommend celebrations as a party venue!
Held my 30th here recently and the whole team were brilliant in making sure all my guests and I had a great night. Amy handled my booking throughout and was also there on the night to assist with setup and ensure everything ran smoothly. A great spacious venue with a brilliant garden. A great layout means you feel like there is lots of space at the bar, lots of space for dancing and yet the guests were close enough to create a close, party atmosphere. Would definitely recommend.
booked for my son's 40th birthday , the staff changed between us booking and the party . They kept changing the T&C's so we did not know what was going on which made us very stressed.. We were told to expect 3 bar-staff and a doorman and we got 2 staff when we questioned this it was denied . when we arrived for the party there was no draft beer/ cider , so our guest had to buy bottled . Which was very embarrassing for us, half way though the night they run out of ice , why wait till you run out before going to get more? maybe because there was only 2 staff who were struggling to keep up with demand . They were helpful about storing and putting out food but there wasn't enough table space to be able to display nicely . It closes at 12 and they start complaining about people waiting outside for cabs and saying goodbye . everyone knows that it takes a while for a crowd to leave a party , I would not book again or recommend to anyone
I'm so disappointed with the night , to be honest it wasn't worth the money , the venue and bar was fine but management wasn't the best, the party got shut down so much earlier than it was supposed to and the music had to be low not the disturb the surrounding neighbours which is stupid baring in mind it is a sweet 16 party. Don't recommend to anyone that wants to have fun.
Worst experience and night of my life, so much money got spent for my sweet 16 and they just put it to waste, the staff were rude and threatening. Trust me not the place for a party the neighbourhood kept sending in complaints about the music, they kept turning down the music till they shut it off 1hour and a half earlier than planned. They chucked out people for stupid reasons (going to the corner shop) (having empty plastic bag that smelt of nothing) (consuming alcohol when they had ID that they were 18) to be honest I also had an feeling that we was not wanted, it made the night very uncomfortable.
