disgusting service from the owner and one of the security guards on new year’s eve. came with my friends to have a drink however decided to go to the toilet first as we were bursting.. one of the security guards decided to lecture us all on what it “looks like” for us to be headed to the bathroom even though he’s clearly seen we were up to no trouble, his attitude escalated and almost seemed as if he was looking for us to get into a fight. as well as the owner who thought it was okay to push me around the pub just because i was waiting for my friends to get a drink. will make sure we and anyone else we know stay clear of this horrible place no wonder you could hear the crickets inside.
Had a very long journey from eltham. Went straight to the toilets and have the security guards follow from behind. As I was pissing, JAMESSSS, found that to be a problem and made us feel very uncomfortable! Never seem security like that in my life
A good place to watch football. Plenty of screens and seats and comfortable settings. However, the owner saw it fit to throw me out because I only had one pint over the course of a half of football. Was taking a breather over half time before ordering a second drink but I was told to leave before I had the chance to do so. He assumed I wasn't going to order another one I guess but that wasn't the case and a simple question would have clarifed that. I get that the owner has bills and subscriptions to pay but surely me having 2 or 3 pints over the course of 2 hours on a quiet Tuesday night is better than nothing? I must add, I had a pleasant experience in there a few days before with another person serving. I urge the owner to rethink how he treats people. Another approach and I would have happily been in there 2 or 3 times a week
Went out for drinks, music was ok, massive queue for bar. Then my mate got spiked and the bouncers tried to convince us not to call an ambulance. Wouldn't recommend, stay safe
Great pub, great atmosphere. If you want to come and have a drink, do. It’s fantastic for football with many supporters of different clubs, even the odd Chelsea fan. Don’t go here to whinge or pick faults, it’s a busy pub that doesn’t tolerate snowflakes. Keep up the good work pat 👍🏻👍🏻
