We had a wonderful stay at Kelvin Hotel. Our room was clean and spacious. We appreciated having one big bed in addition to the twin bed, an extra chair, and a desk setup. The bathroom was quite large and we had no issues with hot water or water pressure. We were able to leave our bags after check out so we could continue to explore. We ran into the proprietress and had a lovely conversation with her. There is also a hotel bar which is open in the evenings.
We stayed here for one night as a family. The room was very spacious even with three beds in it. It was very clean and well maintained. Service was great and very flexible. It's just a short walk into Oban and a very good location for the ferry terminal, which you can see out of the window. We'd definitely stay here again.
One of our favorite hotels. We had a chance to hang out with Sheena, the owner, and it felt like we were home when chatting with her. The hotel has a great interior space and our room was spacious with touches of detail like the industrial bedside light fixtures. We will definitely stay here again the next time we are in beautiful Oban. And hopefully, we will catch you the next time you’re in the Lower Eastside!
Excellent Room, comfortable bed with kitchenette and full bathroom. Robbie had greeted us, help us to our room and showed us around. He also helps with the morning breakfast and the best is our bartender. Robbie was an excellent host. Great conversations. Breakfast is served in the dining room every morning 8am-9am, for a small fee before you started your day cruising Oban with great shops , restaurants and local fisheries (eat-in, eat there or take home) and the neighboring towns and islands.
Had a great stay here, for our first time in the UK it was a real treat. Had problems with our booking - not their fault but they accommodated us regardless. The young fella working there was super helpful and friendly despite having to deal with issues outside of his control. Also, great bar downstairs which is always a bonus. If I get back to Oban, will definitely stay there again. Highly recommend.
