Really nice meal. Loved how attentive the staff were, nothing was too much trouble. Jackie welcomed us, she was so pleasant and helpful, such a nice lady. Halloumi starter was gorgeous 👌🏻, plentiful and tasty. Steak and ale pie went down a treat! Thank you. Bit of a trek from home but we'll definitely be back again.
Had the breakfast with Santa. Absolutely excellent! Food was lovely. Table was set up with cookie decorating, colouring and hats for the children. The Santa and Mrs clause were excellent, actually spent time with the children and then gave them a gift. All in all what a brilliant morning, definitely be doing it again. Relatively pleasant carvery with a play area for children. Good range of dishes as well as carvery food. When we visited, the carvery was relatively well stocked although the meat looked a bit dry. The vegetables were pretty good and there was a wide range of carvery sides available. Kids menu daily varied with healthy options available. The best thing about this place are the desserts; the cakes are huge and there is a good variety of ice cream.
We come here a lot but we especially love the breakfast with santa. We have come for the past 4 years. The santa/mrs claus are always very realistic! Spend their time with the children too. Its not just in and out. The tables are decorated with crackers. Cookie for each child to decorate & eat. Plus a craft activity. A really wholesome morning and one which really makes our Christmas. So much thought and effort put it into it🥰
I went on a Tuesday afternoon, so it wasn't as busy as I'm sure weekends are. I had the large carvery and extra pigs in blankets, which for the price was a steal. The food was excellent, and I made the most of it. I was served by two ladies, Sam and Denise, who were very friendly and polite and attentive I also had a slice of the Mars Attacks chocolate cake, and boy, did it deliver freshly made by someone in the back, I'm told absolutely incredible. 10/10 couldn't be happier with my experience. I will definitely be back. Thank you to everyone
