The single room has a long bar and widens at the far end, where there is a raised platform for karaoke and the like. There is a small smoking area beyond. The pub was once part of the George, one of Derby's famous coaching inns, and also played a bit part in Bonnie Prince Charlie's Rebellion of 1745. A blue plaque outside commemorates this event, but there is little evidence of the long history of the pub inside it, or in it's current name.
It's ok for a pint. A bit basic but staff friendly enough. Also always seems to smell of bleach when I've been in.

Great pub, you just never know what time it is outside once in you're in there.. disco, lights people it's got the lot..
I only been to this pub when it was empty, as it seems... in my experience it is either quiet or absolutely bursting with people and sometime karaoke. It is said to be a haunted pub, and that a skull was found in the basement... with that said, I never noticed the skull (it is supposed to be at the bar?) Would still recommend it.
