The Jonty Farmer is the king of local pubs! Pop over and you’ll find a really big beer garden, a kids’ play area, darts and pool, good beer, and a food menu with something for everyone. We’ve got that great pub atmosphere that makes you want to stay for one more drink. Our pub is perfect for everything from quick pints to family meals and big nights out. All the regulars come in for quiz nights, and we do plenty of party nights and events as well. Want to watch the match with a pint and a bunch of likeminded people? We wanted to try somewhere new that was relaxed but with a good atmosphere, good food and great drinks. The Jonty Farmer ticked all these boxes for us! We felt that there were a lovely mix of people enjoying their meals and we think it is perfect for couples, families, older people and young. My other half was happy as Cruzcampo was available which we haven’t seen in many other places. We had staters and mains, which we ordered at the bar. We noticed the app and the physical menu had 2 different options which we found strange, so we used the menu from our phones. Everything we ordered came just as we wanted, with added extras and taking off salad and sauce for fussy eaters. It came quickly and we were so happy with everything we had- so so delicious! The pizza oven is a massive bonus too! We loved everything and would most definitely eat here again- the staff were wonderful and helpful. My only wish was that the place had a makeover. One half looked as if it had been done up, whereas the restaurant area was old and tired and not the most tidy. Apart from that, it would be 10/10.

We have 4 children and when I asked for a quiet area of the pub for my reservation that we got, it was just away enough but not secluded. Our food came promptly and was hot. The food all was tasty and my children enjoyed their food that much they wanted desserts. All staff were welcoming and helpful when asking a few questions about the meals.

We came for Christmas dinner for a change, but had to wait 2 hours - despite booking and paying £200 (for three) in October. No sign of the management, they clearly were not interested in fronting up to the many disgruntled guests. When it finally came, the food was horrendous, and the most pathetic attempt at a Christmas dinner in living memory. Considering the £60 per head price tag, it was absolutely shocking. Don’t bother “reaching out” - it’s too late, our Christmas was ruined. Needless to say, even though we live a few hundred meters away, we have no intention ever to return.

Large pub/restaurant with a spacious outdoor area including some pod/ booth seating. Inside there is ample seating for diners or those just going for a drink and to watch the live sports. The food was good quality and came quickly, being very good value and generous portions. They also had special offers such as Monday being a pizza night with pizza and a drink for under £11. The dining area was clean and staff were attentive. Plenty of free parking on site.
