Last minute catch up with one of our best friends and we were pleasantly surprised. Really friendly staff and good food too. Would definitely return the next time we're in Royston.
Delicious. Quick Service. My only criticisms would be that the lamb was served on a plate sized Yorkshire Pudding which was a waste as I only eat crispy yorkies, so only 1/2 around the outside was eaten and there was literally only a dessert spoonful of veg, so a little more of that would have been nice
First class customer service from arrival to leaving. Nice welcome and goodbye from host/manager(man with beard). Waitress first class . Food great value,well cooked and presented. Well done all again. Thanks again David Churchill
Six out of five stars!!! Super fun atmosphere and great food surrounded by friendly staff. I had the chicken & steak and it was amazing. I could stay for hours. Be sure to walk down the road to the Heath afterwards if you’re interested in a stroll through medieval history.
We had a great time the food was very good the staff very friendly and helpful. We were shown to our seats very quick and our drink order was taken and came fast . There is a lot of choice on the adult and kids menu my little girl had a pizza I had the chicken mixed grill and my wife had the butter milk chicken burger . All our food was hot and very tasty it was all good value for money. The way the place is decorated is very interesting my little girl loved it I would definitely recommend coming here I live in Cambridge and will be making the trip back to eat here again

The Old Courthouse is a beautiful grade II listed building in the centre of Royston, with a wonderful history that has stitched itself into the fabric of the local community.
