Large pub in Basildon. Has seating outside, but glasses not allowed out there, so you will get plastic. Has 2 pool tables on the left side of the bar. There are up to 3 real ales available. There is a raised area opposite the bar, where live bands play at weekends. Pub is Wheelchair accessible. Thai menu available in the evenings from 6pm-10.30pm which is also available on take away.

Good friendly quick service. Nice pub grub at average prices
We got Chuck out of our seats tonight plus someone got really upset because they wanted to do poker playing cards. I'm sad as well I've had to come home I couldn't have a extra couple of drinks because of the card game. I thought when you go to the pub you are exposed to be happy. I think this is wrong I'm so disappointed 😞
Went for their famous Sunday roast, o.m.g.!!! So good and reasonably priced, family friendly too. Great for a boogie and drink Friday night as well!
Great atmosphere here. The owner has great taste in live bands as he booked us! We had a great time, everyone was really friendly. We set up from 7:30pm and it had a really nice community feel about the place. There were various teams when we arrived; (football and cyclists) who chose to meet here with their families and it was a really pleasant atmosphere. Then when we started around 9pm, the evening crowd appeared and they were equally pleasant.
This is my local and it is really family friendly. I would recommend this pub to all my friends, you can bring your kids, your dog, your fat cat and even your Mrs haha! The owners are fantastic and they always put events on for the community!
